中国日报:国网常州供电应用声波技术加强管道安全

The State Grid Changzhou Power Supply Company recently piloted the use of a sound wave locator to accurately detect gas pipelines near the 110-kilovolt Gangluo cable channel, providing technical support for the safety management of underground pipelines.

Urban underground infrastructure is often diverse and complex. To minimize the risk of pipeline damage during construction, and in line with the directives of the State Grid Corporation of China, the company collaborated with local gas providers, surveying institutions, and other stakeholders to launch a comprehensive survey of gas pipelines near the city's cable channels. This initiative combined data verification with on-site detection.

"In recent years, newly installed gas pipelines have typically used non-metallic materials such as polyethylene, rendering traditional electromagnetic induction detection methods ineffective," explained Liu Chang, the on-site manager. To address this challenge, the company introduced a sound wave locator capable of emitting wide-frequency sound signals between 100 and 999.99 hertz. The device can detect pipelines at depths of up to 10 meters with positioning accuracy within 10 centimeters. During the pilot test, 18 valid data points were collected, identifying three high-risk intersection areas.

After initial data verification, 19 gas-related cable channels were identified in Xinbei district of Changzhou. On-site inspections are expected to be completed by mid-August. Based on the results, a three-dimensional spatial database will be developed to optimize operational procedures and protection strategies. The company also plans to expand the application of sound wave detection technology to additional key cable channels across the main urban area by the end of the year.

近日,国网常州供电公司试点运用声波定位仪,对110千伏港罗线电缆通道周边燃气管道开展精准探测,为地下管线安全管理提供技术支撑。

城市地下管线种类多、环境复杂。为降低施工中误碰管线的风险,根据国家电网公司专项部署,国网常州供电公司对接当地燃气公司、测绘院等各方,通过资料核查、现场探测相结合的方式,对全市电缆通道周边燃气管道情况启动全面摸排。

“近年新建的燃气管道普遍采用聚乙烯等非金属材料,传统的电磁感应探测手段无法适用。”现场负责人刘畅介绍。为解决这一问题,国网常州供电公司创新引入声波定位仪。该仪器可发射100-999.99赫兹宽频声波信号,探测深度达10米、定位精度达10厘米。此次探测中,累计采集有效数据点18个,识别出3处高风险交叉区段。

经过前期资料核查,国网常州供电公司已筛选出新北区19处涉燃电缆通道,预计将在8月中旬完成全部现场探测,在此基础上建立三维空间数据库,细化完善相应运维和防护方案。年内,该公司计划将声波探测技术推广至主城区重点电缆通道。
